Head, Shoulders, Knees, And Toes Song

Writer's picture: Elizabeth GrussElizabeth Gruss

An all about me theme is the perfect time to learn this classic song! Below is the lyrics in case you have forgotten, and a few videos to switch things up! Touch the body part as you sing, and instruct your child to do the same. Once they have gotten that, you can make this more challenging by learning the words in another language, by changing the words to different body parts, or by learning the scientific name for the bones you are touching.

Head Shoulders Knees And Toes

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees and toes,

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees, and toes,

Eyes, and ears, and mouths, and noes

Head, shoulders, knees, and toes, knees, and toes!

Here are two videos I found, one in French and one in Spanish. I am not affiliated with them in any way, they just seemed like good ones you can either watch, or just listen to in the background to sing along to. We frequently listen to preschool songs while we are eating. There usually are videos attached, but that doesn't mean we have to watch them!
