Open Ended Sensory Play- Playdough

Writer's picture: Elizabeth GrussElizabeth Gruss

Since we have been using playdough to start working on number value and letter lines, this week's sensory play will be with playdough.

You'll Need:

Playdough

Playdough tools

Directions:

Set up a spot to work. Set out playdough and any tools you have. If you don't have any, or maybe not very many, there are other items you can use. Measuring spoons, small bowls or cups, cookie cutters, spoons/forks/safe knives, and unsharpened pencils are all items you most likely have laying around that can be used for cutting, shaping, and pretend play. Let your child explore with the playdough and do as they wish!
