This art project explores lines and shapes they make.
You'll need:
Paper or alternative
Tape or alternative
Paint, Markers, or Crayons
Directions:
Set out your paper or alternative. This could be a cardboard box broken down or paper grocery bag broken down. You can use one piece of paper or tape down many to cover a large area or full table.
For younger children, place lines of tape across the paper (or alternative). Randomize direction and length as to create a variety of sizes and shapes between tape lines.
For older children, this could be a great tape skills practice. Let them tear off and place to create their own shapes.
Once tape is placed (you can go all out with this or do ~3-5 tape lines, seriously). Set out colored pencils, markers, crayons, water colors, stickers, glue + pieces of construction paper or tissue paper, etc. One medium or multiple ones. It's up to your child's interest and what you have available (also if you don't want a mess.. crayons it is!)
That's it! When done, discuss with your child what they created!
