Mirror Self Portrait

Writer's picture: Elizabeth GrussElizabeth Gruss

Children love making self portraits, and I have a ton of different ways to create them. This one is a great way to start.

You'll need:

A mirror

Paper

Drawing utensil

Cling wrap or plastic sheet optional

Directions:

Set up a spot for your child. Either let them draw on a piece of paper with the mirror propped up so they can sit, see, and draw. Or, you can place a piece of sturdy plastic on top of the mirror, or wrap with cling wrap so they can draw on the mirror with out ruining it. You may have something that will wash off, I'd just test before ruining a good hand mirror.
