Monster Mash-up

Create a monster using what you have at home!


You'll need:


Various items you have on hand


Directions:


See what you have for this activity. It can be done so many ways. Yay imagination!


For the work surface, pick either a piece of paper, paper bag, cardboard, popsicle stick, or even regular stick. Find craft items, such as string, googly eyes, pom poms, stickers, small pieces of paper or cardboard, or even nature items like flowers, grass, dirt, rocks, bark, etc.


Put out the items, are perhaps do one monster with your child first. Let them explore with their materials, mixed in with markers or paint for coloring. This could go in so many ways and is up to their imagination! Can you make a story to go along with your monster? Make a monster family?
