Ongoing Science Journal- Fall color change

Writer's picture: Elizabeth GrussElizabeth Gruss

This is a great ongoing science and art project to help connect your child to nature!

You'll need:

Drawing utensils in fall colors

Journal or notebook (or pieces of paper to make your own)

Directions:

Pick a timeline of the month or so where you can see the fall changes most drastically. Once or twice a week, go to the same spot and have your child record what they see. Bring crayons, markers, water colors, whatever your child would like. You can keep the medium the same, or switch it up each week! If you are using paper, you can bind them together with staples or string, or binder rings, to make a keepsake. You also can find small notebooks for pretty cheap at places like Target.
