Paper Towel Roll Apple Tree Balancing

Writer's picture: Elizabeth GrussElizabeth Gruss

This is a fun, easy fine motor and calming activity.

You'll need:

Paper towel roll

Pom Poms (or alternative)

Cardboard or construction paper

Directions:

Cut out a circle out of your cardboard or construction paper to be placed on top of the paper towel roll. It should spill over a couple inches on each side. Set up your child with pom poms and tweezers. Have them place the pom poms on the tree top, trying to balance them on. If you don't have pom poms, you could use beads, rolled up pipe cleaners, or dried pasta.
