Sensory Jars Pt 2

Part 2! This experiment is so much fun, I'm sure your child is ready for round two!


Keep going with your process from day one. Here are ideas for your jars:



Touch


-Small Towel

-Stuffed Animal

-Legos

-Sandpaper or used drier sheet (if sandpaper, let them know to go in gently!)

-Small pieces of paper


Hear


-Legos

-Stuffed animal

-Electric toothbrush

-Remote or play phone with buttons you can hear being pushed

-Aluminum foil or parchment paper


Smell


-Fresh laundry

-Toothpaste

-Special stuffed animal

-Lotion

-Cardboard or piece of wood


Taste


-Teeeeny bit of toothpaste (can rinse afterwards)

-Cereal

-Cocoa Powder (plain for bitterness)

-Cheese

-Food they typically do not like


See


-Pieces of paper ripped up tiny

-Aluminum foil

-Legos

-Cocoa Powder

-Small baby blanket




Touch- Dry Pasta

Hear- Coins

Smell- Toothpaste

Taste- Cocoa Powder (plain for bitterness)

See- Aluminum Foil
